They've ALMOST disappeared from the planet Earth, but back in "the olden days" there were many Paul Revere and the Raiders' EP's to be had -- and dig the hip copywriting, man!

Some U.S. releases, put out by Columbia Special Products (all 33-1/3rpm):

"The Moving Crowd" (#CSM 546) (1966 or 67)

Cover: includes a picture of the Raiders with Mark, Paul, Fang, Harpo, and Smitty (although the liner notes reference Drake). This was a special promotion for National Shoes and Mary Jane Shoe Stores.

"A smash-hit hard rocker featuring Raider lead singer and saxophonist Mark Lindsay,
Steppin' Out is a perfect example of this group's unique sound and wild, irresistable beat."

Also included are one track each from Simon and Garfunkel, The Byrds, and Aretha Franklin.

"Great Shakes - Shake-Out 2" (#CSM 566) (1967)

Cover: a Peter Max-type rainbow arching over a generically-drawn 4-piece band. This was a limited edition promotion for General Foods. It features one track each by The Buckinghams, The Byrds, Aretha Franklin, and The Raiders.

"Paul Revere and the Raiders are those five new-view young musicians,
those happening gentlemen who've marched off with the hearts of today's music public.
When these musical minute men tell you that that's a Good Thing ,
well, you just better believe 'em."

"Fresh Sound" (#CSM 614) (1967)

Cover: includes the Greatest Hits photo of The Raiders.
This was a limited edition for Pond's, not available in record stores.
It features one track each by The Cyrkle, Peaches & Herb, Aretha Franklin, and The Raiders.

"LISTEN! It's a rockin' group as new as tomorrow and as out of sight as an Apollo spacecraft.
It's got a fresh sound that's heard 'round the world, and it belongs to Paul Revere and the Raiders.
Hear them do their thing in The Great Airplane Strike ."

And how about these six all-Raider EP's, all from Portugal, of all places! All are 45 rpm:

The answer to the inevitable question: look in Goldmine or Discoveries Magazines, and haunt your local used record stores and record fairs.
