the Polar Music Prize.

DEAR MR CLAUS - Mark started the show with this song from the Raiders' 1967 A Christmas Present...and Past album, and told the mischievous story of the "skip" that he and Terry Melcher added for a little holiday fun. You can get it PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPHED to yourself (or a friend) HERE.

DIANE WARREN - Mark included two songs in the first set written by the prolific Diane Warren winner of the Polar Music Prize in 2020 - DESIRE with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts (co-written with Joan and Kenny Laguna), and AND THE NIGHT STOOD STILL with Dion. Later on in the sixth set, Mark also played the DW-written BED OF NAILS with Alice Cooper.

PATTI SMITH AND BOB DYLAN
 - Mark talked throughout the show about Nobel winner Dylan, and after the second set, told the story of Patti at the awards ceremony. A link to her cathartic New Yorker essay that Mark talked about is HERE.

.

SOMETHING BIG AND BURT BACHARACH - Mark played the song in the fourth set and told the story of the rehearsal and session with Burt. You can hear Mark perform it in the movie and get the DVD HERE.

ROBERT MOOG AND THE MINI-MOOG
