This Week's
"DEEP DIVE"
MEET THE UN-BEATLES
It's an All-Un-Beatles show as we feature artists
who borrowed original songs from the Fab Four
and put their own special spin on them

THE BLACK KEYS - Mark started the first set with a song from their first album, recorded in a basement. You can hear their signature style even back then.
JOHN FRED AND HIS PLAYBOY BAND - In the second set, Mark played their take on Back In The USSR. Here's the promo video for the song they're best known for - JUDY IN DISGUISE.
FRANKIE VALLLI - Mark didn't play this tune on today's show since it wasn't a good fit due to its "over-production" for a movie, but Frankie's performance is incredible.
THE GANTS - In the fifth set, Mark told their story and played EIGHT DAYS A WEEK. He also mentioned how lead singer Sid Herring looked way too much like Peter Noone - and here's proof! From the Jackson, MS Coliseum in 1966...
THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD / YESTERDAY - Mark closed the show with this medley from his Silverbird album, and told the story of how it came about.
