This Week's
"DEEP DIVE"
COMMUNICATION
This week, Mark will tell the story of how he broke the U.S. phone system and was the impetus for a complete re-vamping of national communication via phone.
TOO MUCH TALK - Mark started the show with this Raider song from the SOMETHING HAPPENING album, and played the album version from the CD. It has a different bridge than the single version. The CD contains BOTH versions, and we have only FIVE copies left of the special European edition, which we are limiting to a personally autographed edition of only TWELVE. Details HERE
COMMUNICATION PART 1 AND 2 - Mark closed the last set with this song, which is also on the SOMETHING HAPPENING CD.
"STAR NIGHT" - Mark told the story of how a magazine promotion brought down most of the long-distance service to Los Angeles back in 1967....
TALK TALK - Mark opened the fifth set with this Music Machine song. Here they are on one of their two Where The Action Is performances.
YOUR WIRES HAVE BEEN TAPPED - Mark closed the show with Pigmeat Markham and this tune. Pigmeat was the originator of the "Here Come The Judge!" and "Look That Up In Your Funk & Wagnall's!" soundbites on the 60s comedy show Laugh-In.
