This week, Mark will feature songs about car culture
I LOVE YOU MODEL T - Mark opened the first set with this Bruce (Johnston) and Terry (Melcher) song, their third single as a duo, since this weekend marks the anniversary of the introduction of that Henry Ford classic.
GET OUT OF MY MIND - Mark closed the first set with this Raider song and explained that he recorded its opening by putting a tape recorder on the floor of his Ferrari 275GTB (pictured to the left) and zooming around the Hollywood Hills. The song is on the SOMETHING HAPPENING CD...and we have just three (of a total of 12) left of his Limited Signed European Edition - available HERE, personally autographed to you.
Mark also talked about Dennis Wilson and his Ferraris, including the one below, wrecked after Tex Watson "borrowed" it when Dennis went up to Spahn Ranch.

BROKEN RADIO - Mark closed the fourth set with this song from his 1996 Video Dreams album, available HERE, personally autographed to YOU.
SS396 - Mark played this Raider song in the last set today. They cut it, along with its B side CORVAIR BABY, as a promo for Chevrolet. Later on, they recorded THE JUDGE for that snazzy new model.
