This weekend marks the 75th anniversary of the first 45rpm record ever produced. Mark will tell you the unbelievable story of the artist who was on that yellow vinyl,
along with playing two hours of some groovy singles
​originating in the U.S.A.

SONG SELLER - Mark opened the show with this 1972 Raider single about record label promo guys, written by Jimmy Webb, and told the story of why he selected the song for the group. It's available HERE on the out-of-print COMPLETE COLUMBIA SINGLES 3-CD set, personally autographed to you.

Mark also played two other Raider singles during the show, THERE SHE GOES (the B side of HUNGRY), and OBSERVATION FROM FLIGHT 285 (in 3/4 Time) (the B side of DON'T TAKE IT SO HARD. All these somgs are also on the 3-CD set.

​DOMINO - Mark opened Set 4 with this 1959 song by Cleveland's Ronnie and The Savoys, released as a single last year by Wicked Cool Records. It features Steve Popovich on bass and vocals. Steve went on to become a sales/promo guy for Columbia Records in Cleveland, and was a huge fan of the Raiders, becoming very influential in their success.
